Therapeutic Approach
As a therapist, I believe that each person is an expert on their own lives and that therapy should center around the clients voice. I support each client with setting and working toward their individualized goals. While I have extensive training in many evidence based therapeutic approaches that I use in session, I believe there is no one modality that will perfectly fit a clients needs which is why the foundation of my therapy is rooted in connection. Healing happens in relationships. I bring my authentic self to sessions because I know our relationship, as therapist and client, is central to the healing process.
My goal is to create a safe and attuned environment for you to explore the more complex, frustrating, painful, and curious parts of yourself and your life. Together, we will create meaning and new understandings of your history, attachment, and the rich tapestry of experiences that make your life both unique and complex.
My approach can be helpful if you are struggling with any of the following:
-
Connection, belonging and identity
-
Attachment injury and repair
-
Relationship challenges
-
Work/life balance
-
Body image, confidence and self-esteem
-
Grief and loss
-
Self-critical lens
-
Self-exploration and personal development
-
Fertility and family planning
